This guide shows a Planner (a buyer-side user) how to find and review four sets of information in TrueAuto: firm demand sent to a supplier, forecast sent to a supplier, incoming shipments, and incoming invoices.

Even though this guide is for buy-side users, the menu names in TrueAuto use supplier terminology. For example, buyers access information through menus such as Supplier Demand Mgt, Supplier Receiving, Supplier Finance, and Incoming Documents. The steps in this guide use these on-screen menu names exactly as displayed.

The Supplier Demand Mgt feature is the parent of two features. Schedules shows every schedule message sent to a supplier, and Demand Requests shows every individual firm and forecast schedule line. Firm and forecast are not held in separate menus. They appear together in both features but may befiltered using the Type column to show just Firm or Plan data.

All four tasks are view-only. You open a record, review it, and optionally print or export it.

Prerequisites: You need a TrueAuto username and password, and your account must have access to the buyer-side menus. Menus are tailored to each customer. Contact a TrueAuto support representative to add or adjust the settings needed for this purpose.

A menu or button is missing

Menus and features are tailored to each customer. Contact a TrueAuto support representative to add or adjust the settings needed for this purpose.

I cannot find a request, shipment, or invoice

Clear the Filter panel and widen the date range. Check that you are searching on the right trading partner, part number, purchase order, or ASN number. Use Incoming Documents to confirm the trading partner's document arrived. If lines are missing on Demand Requests, check the Type column. A Firm search string hides forecast lines, and a Forecast search string hides firm lines.

A scheduled forecast has not arrived

If your account uses Scheduled Alerts, open Settings > Scheduled Alerts and review the Scheduled Logs tab. A status of On-Time means the message arrived in the expected window, and Missing means it did not. If the menu is not available, contact a TrueAuto support representative to add or adjust the settings needed for this purpose.

Quantities do not match

Compare Requested, Shipped, Received, and Invoiced quantities on the Demand Requests screen and follow the indicators described in Spotting Exceptions on Demand Requests.
