The Importance of Excel Reports
Excel reports serve as helpful tools for analyzing and managing order data effectively. They offer a structured format that allow users to manipulate, visualize, and extract insights from large datasets with ease. After exporting Firm Orders and Forecast Orders in TrueAuto, Excel reports provide:
Data Visibility - Excel reports offer a comprehensive view of order details, including quantities, delivery schedules, and customer specifications. This visibility enables stakeholders to monitor order status, identify potential bottlenecks, and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
Customization Options - The reports are highly customizable, providing you with the means to tailor the format and content to the customer's specific needs. Whether it is organizing data by customer, product, or delivery date, users can configure reports to align with their workflow and analytical requirements.
Export Firm Orders and Forecast Orders: A Step-by-Step Guide
Forecast Orders
Select Customer Demand Mgt > Forecast Orders.
On the Customer Forecast Orders page, select one or multiple orders that you want to print, then click Print.
On the Choose Reports to Print window, do the following:
a. Select the Trading Partner and Ship To in the drop-down list.
b. Select the Start Date and End Date from the calendars.
c. In the left pane, select the Export to Forecast Orders checkbox.
d. Click OK.
The Report (Excel file) for Forecast Orders is displayed.
Firm Orders
Select Customer Demand Mgt > Firm Orders.
On the Customer Firm Orders page, select one or multiple orders that you want to print, then click Print.
On the Choose Reports to Print window, do the following:
a. Select the Trading Partner in the dropdown list.
b. Click Search in the Ship To field, choose the Ship To on the Browse Ship To window, and then Select.
The selected Ship To is loaded.
c. Select the Start Date and End Date from the calendars.
d. In the left pane, select the Export Firm Orders checkbox.
e. Click OK.
The Report (Excel file) for Firm Orders is displayed.
NOTE: After the report is downloaded, formatting issues can be displayed. At that time, you will need to adjust column widths by hovering over the line between two column headers until a double-sided arrow appears. Then, click and drag to adjust the width manually.
