Outer Containers
An Outer Container can also be referred to as a pallet. It holds inner containers and has pallet labels. There are two types of pallet labels used in TrueAuto:
Master pallet includes inner containers with the same part number (SKU). It is indicated by the MASTR Label Type.
Mixed pallet includes inner containers with different part numbers (SKUs). It is indicated by the MIXED Label Type.
Inner Containers
An Inner Container is a box that holds individual parts and has inner container labels.
NOTE: The Barcode Labels menu manages Outer Container and Inner Container records in TrueAuto. This is where you can print and re-print Outer/Inner Container labels. If serials are deleted from the Outer/Inner Container/Barcode Labels page, they will be removed from the system.
