Building a shipment involves assigning items to container serials, and then assigning container serials to pallets. However, there may be cases where 'Pallet A' is only supposed to have 10 container serials, but the Supplier scanned 11 container serials by mistake.

So, how do you unassign a container serial from a pallet? Read on!

Remove Container Serials from a Shipment during the Truckload Process

To remove Container Serials from a Shipment during the Truckload Process:

  1. From the Customer Shipments menu, click TruckLoad Processing.

  2. On the Truckload Processing page, scan the barcode for this shipment (on the pick list) in the Scan Shipment ID field.

  3. Select the inner container that you want to remove. You must select only 1 container at a time.

  4. Click Unassign.

This will remove the container serial from the order.

  5. Within the confirmation message, click OK.

Common supplier scenarios in TruckLoad

IMPORTANT: The supplier must scan the serial that they want to unassign to ensure the SHIPPED QTY matches.
